Srinagar, Jan 12 (KNS): Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba has paid rich tributes to Sajad Ahmad alias Peer Sahab who was killed in a shootout by police and army in Zakura in Srinagar outskirts on Monday evening.
In emailed statement to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting LeT Chief Mahmood Shah said: “The life of one Mujahid is more precious that the life of 1000 Indian army man.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHowever, we don’t consider the martyrdom of a Mujahid as death because it is better to die in the way of Allah that an ordinary death. Our Prophet (SAW) wished martyrdom in the way of Allah,” Shah said.
The LeT chief thanked the residents of Pulwama, saying that their respect for the militants is outstanding and exemplary. (KNS)
