‘Why are IHR bodies silent’

Srinagar, Apr 13 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba has paid rich tributes to the civilians killed in Handwara in forces firing and expressed shock over the killings.
In an emailed statement to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit’s chief Mahmood Shah said that protesters are showered with bullets in Kashmir.

“Every day youths are killed in Kashmir by Indian army and nobody questions them,” LeT chief said, adding that the militant outfit equally shares the grief of the bereaved families.
Four civilians Mohammad Iqbal, Nayeem Qadir, Jehangir Ahmad and a woman Raja Begum were killed by Government forces in the last two days in Kupwara District during protests. (KNS)
