Srinagar, Apr 22 (KNS): Chief of Lashkar-e-Toiba, Mehmood Shah Friday paid tribute to three slain militants who were killed in an encounter that raged between militants and forces in Lolab village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In an emailed statement to KNS, Shah said that the people of Kashmir and militants are on the same page and both are rendering the sacrifices of same nature for freedom of Kashmir.
“The manner in which the people of Kashmir are struggling against the occupational forces gives a strong hope that the freedom struggle of Kashmir will soon reach its logical destination,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Shah said, “Poisonous informers are becoming the reason for the martyrdom of valuable Mujahideen. These traitors are selling their faith and the honor of the nation for a few pennies.”
He said, “Until and unless they are rooted out, Indian forces cannot be defeated.”
“We appeal to the people of Kashmir to join us in eradicating the facilitators and the informers of Indian army, as they have always done,” he added. (KNS)
