Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday paid tributes to the four militants, Inam-ul-Haq, Abid Nazir, Meraj-ud-Deen and Basharat Ahmed who were killed in an encounter thar raged between forces and militants in South Kashmir';s Shopian district today.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi while quoting the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as strongly condemning the shifting of scores of prisoners namely, Chairman Muslim League Jammu Kashmir Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Latif Ahmed Athar, Basharat Ahmed Mir, Manzoor Ahmed Nijar, Shokat Ahmed Ginai, Manzoor Ahmed Ginai, Feroz Ahmed Khan, Shakil Ahmed Thokar, Imtiaz Ahmed Dar, Abdul Majeed Dar, Naseer Ahmed Sheikh, Ameer Aziz Lone, Irfan Ahmed Lone, Zafar-ul-Islam Shah, Imtiaz Ahmed Mir, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Farooq Ahmed Batt, Bashir Ahmed Qureshi, Bashir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Firdos Ahmed Paray, and Ghulam Hassan Shah to international jails.

He requested the international human rights organizations to take notice of 'aggressive policies and motives of India' against Jammu Kashmir and to play their proactive role in pushing 'forces to quit Kashmir'.
Expressing grief over the killing of Hurriyat leader Hafeezullah Mir, Shah said that "the unjust killing of Kashmiris will bring about the demise of occupation. History repeats itself. Indian government is shedding the blood of innocents with its rhetoric of Hindutva rule and committing worst terrorism. Such sacrifices will never go in vain."
Shah thanked public for turning up in the funeral prayer of Mir in great number and said that "the public are our true asset. We are motivated with their support in our fight against unjust occupation." (KNS)
