LeT pays tribute to slain Pulwama militants

Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) Tuesday paid tributes to slain militants of Jaish-e-Muhammad who were killed in Pulwama gunfight.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr. Abdullah Ghazanwi, quoted its outfit chief Mahmood Shah as saying that “militants through sacrifices have proved that India can never suppress the indigenous freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir.”
“The way in which the freedom fighters fought and killed four Indian forces personnel including a Major is highly appreciative and an act of bravery. The way in which the people of Pulwama have resisted against the Indian occupational forces has proved that the Kashmir's indigenous freedom struggle has entered into its fourth and final phase,” he said.
He added “people and freedom fighters are rendering sacrifices altogether. It is highly condemnable act of Indian occupational forces to damage and blow up the properties and businesses of common men.”
Shah strongly condemned the “acts of violence on Kashmiri students in Jammu and Indian cities and said that such cowardice is nowhere to be seen other than in India.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe Modi regime is pushing itself into destruction by raising sectarian sentiments.”
“The way in which the acts of violence are being imposed on Kashmiri students, it is evident that such vicious and unjust acts are supported by Indian government. If these students in future opt for revenge and pick up guns against barbarism and injustice, then India will have no justification to call them terrorists,” he said.
He added “such vicious acts are a test of our patience. If the public made a decision, then no Hindu Yatris and tourists will have the opportunity to visit Jammu Kashmir. The freedom is our right and we are indulged in the armed struggle for the same right.”
Shah thanked the Sikh community for observing the sentiments of unity and religious harmony and thus protected the Kashmiri students from Hindu mobs. “The way in which they protected our children in Punjab, it is an example of higher status of humanity. We are thankful to them for their emotions,” he said. (KNS)
