Srinagar, Dec 10 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Saturday paid tributes to the two slain militants who were killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Arwani area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying that “The militants who attained martyrdom fought with Indian forces at least for 60 hours while our brave commander, Abu Dujaan gave slip to the forces during an encounter.”
He paid tributes to two slain militants identified as “Abu Talha Majid, son of Muhammad Amin, resident of Gafbal Quimoh Kulgam and Ibrahim Ruhul Amin, son of Muhammad Amin, resident of Vessu Qazigund.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
He said that “the Indian forces cowardly put aside the rules of war and burned down the building where militants were holed up.”
“Indian forces are creating new examples of terrorism and are trying to turn Kashmir in ruins under well planed conspiracy,” Shah added.
“People of Kashmir including old, young, men, women are fighting for freedom. The fight against India will continue till the goal (freedom) will not be achieved,” he said. (KNS)
