Srinagar, Mar 10 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Friday paid tributes to the slain militants and a civilian killed on Thursday in Pulwama and Bandipora districts of Kashmir.
In an e-mailed statement to KNS, the LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying, “The youth are committed to achieve freedom from India and are ready to sacrifice anything for the ongoing struggle.”
Terming the slain militant, Muhammad Shafi Gujree as ‘lion of Allah’, Shah said, “Despite calling the family of a militant at the gun-battle site, the militant continued to fight against the Indian forces, which expresses his courage.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
“Director General of Police (DGP) S P Vaid’s statement proved hoax on the ground as his forces called the family of a militant at encounter site and asked him for surrender, which shows their cowardice.”
While praying for the speedy recovery of the injured persons, LeT Chief said: “I salute the courage of youth who resort to stone pelting despite knowing that the Indian forces won’t have mercy on them and remain in the forefront to fight against the forces.” (KNS)
