Srinagar, Oct 11 (KNS): Mahmood Shah, Chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Wednesday paid tributes to Abu Ammar Nasrallah and his companion Abu Ali who were killed in an encounter today at Hajin.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief as saying that “such anti-ambush attack carried out by these two sons is marvelous. The Indian forces have since long well known that they are upto no position in defending themselves against the Freedom Fighters of Lashkar-e-Taiba.”
“In a 10 hour long fierce fight between the forces and militants, the Mujahideen managed to kill 6 Indian Army personnel while injuring the 9 others,” he said.
“Commander Nasrallah was a nightmare for Indian forces. The descendents of the Freedom Fighters continue to join the ranks. Shah congratulated the mother and other family members of Nasrallah and said that “Nasrallah sacrificed for better and secure future of the nation. He showed immense courage and attained his Martyrdom, fighting the occupational forces.”
Shah attributed the successes of freedom struggle to the ‘unmatched love of the nation with the freedom fighters’ and said that “it is the support of the nation upon which Mujahideen thrive upon. Our aims, ambitions and passion surpass all hurdles. We have vowed not to back off from any sacrifices until and unless the last of Indian forces have quit Jammu Kashmir.” (KNS)
