Srinagar, Oct 09 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba on Tuesday paid tributes to the nation for boycotting the elections.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying that "the elections were nothing other than a drama by the Indian government.”
“The lowest ever turnout in elections have proved to the world that the people of Jammu-Kashmir are on one page and have decided to get India out of the state." he said.
"Hurriyat leadership, the Mujahideen and the public, all are on one page, and the only way they have opted is freedom.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIndian forces have completely failed to suppress the freedom movement. PDP and National Conference, which were pro-India, have also rejected to be part of the election drama. We pray for them to quit Indian friendship and instead of personal gains they start thinking about the people," he said.
"All efforts of the Indian establishment have been complete failed and Kashmir is slipping out of Indian hands every passing day. India is no more in position to hide human rights violations in the state," he said. (KNS)
