Srinagar, Mar 26 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Monday paid tributes to their commander, Abu Al-Qasim Shafat Hussain who was killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Arizal area of Badgam.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief; Mahmood Shah said that “the educated youth has raised a new tide to the freedom struggle.”
“The youth have understood that there is no mightier answer to India's atrocities other than gun. It is mainly because Indian forces are worst of the creatures and have no ethics of war whatsoever,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The outfit chief said that “Abu Al-Qasim was an educated young man who opted to pick up gun after his graduation to seek just rights and attained his martyrdom. He is an exemplary model for the youth.”
Shah thanked the “people who despite relentlessly facing obstructions gathered in martyred commander's funeral in masses and paid their tribute to martyred commander in utmost glory. Such sacrifices will continue to undergo with the support of nation until the people have won their freedom.” (KNS)
