Srinagar, Apr 09 (KNS): A militant of LeT outfit has been killed in Anantnag encounter, while another encounter was going on in DH Pora area of Kulgam, police said here.

An official said that an encounter broke out in Sirhama village of Anantnag following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that in the ensuing encounter one militant of LeT outfit was killed, while searches were going on.

Meanwhile, another encounter broke out in ChakiSamad village of DH Pora in Kulgam district in the wee hours today.

The official said that no militant has been killed in the encounter yet as operation was still going.

He said that further details will be shared accordingly. (KNS)
