Srinagar, Apr 07 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Saturday condemned the brutal killing of Manzoor Ahmed and attacks on household women and termed the acts as ‘shameful and inhumane’.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah said that “it is such a nefarious act that it deserves more than mere a condemnation.”
“LeT has always put up its matters in the public sphere. We have never imposed such a punishment on our culprits. We will fully investigate the matter,” LeT chief said.
“The people of Hajin have strong impressions of love, harmony and gratitude with Jihad and Mujahideen. It is those who feel discontented by rendering the people of Hajin as a hurdle in achieving their vicious plots. However, the truth shall soon be uncovered and the culprits will be put to justice eventually,” Shah said. (KNS)
