Srinagar, May 09 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Tuesday condemned the extension of Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) chief, Aasiya Andrabi's detention.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying, “Extension of Aasiya Andrabi's detention is a condemnable act. In presence of Mehbooba Mufti, brutalities committed on the Kashmiri women are shameful.”
“Islam has given a very high status to the women but Mehbooba Mufti is far away from basic sense and morality,” he said, adding that “Students are living miserable lives in the valley. India has left no other option for the oppressed Kashmiris.”
“Modi is a dictator and a terrorist, who has killed uncountable Muslims in India, and now he is repeating the same in Kashmir but the brave Kashmiris can't be stopped by all this,” Shah said.
“Freedom is the destination which is getting closer and closer. India is trying its utmost to maintain its unjustified occupation in Jammu and Kashmir. But it is not going to happen. It's our turn now,” LeT Chief added. (KNS)
