Srinagar, Nov 26 (KNS): Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba Saturday refuted the police claims alleging LeT’s involvement in bank robbery case.
In an emailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdulla Guznavi quoted Lashker chief Mehmood Shah as saying, “The economy has gone funeral due to starvation, lack of money. Peoples are committing suicides in India. In one week 60 peoples including women, young children have committed suicide.”
He added, “To divert attention from the situation new drama was staged to defame us of bank robbery.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOur enemy India well known since independence movement starts poor thing not done by Lashkar.”
Mehmood said, “We use the gun, an objective, for independence. Bank robbing is work of the Indian army. Burning of houses, vandalism, looting is job of Indian army.”
“We strongly condemn this (Bank robbery) and we do not have any links with this.” (KNS)
