Says arrested youth have no ties with any militant outfit

Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Tuesday condemned the arrest of Kashmiri youth in Kulgam, saying that the arrested youth have no ties with any militant outfit.
In an e-mailed statement to KNS, LeT Spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghazanwi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying that “the arrested have no ties whatsoever with Lashkar-e-Taiba or any related faction.”
“One of the arrested youth is Khurshid Ahmed Dar who is suffering from Cancer while rendering him as a terrorist is a mere act of injustice and a drama staged for winning cheap popularity,” he said.
“IGP Munir Khan must be ashamed of such disgraceful acts and it exposes the sick agendas of Jammu Kashmir Police,” he said, adding that “how come the police forces were able to examine the heartedly intentions of the youth of snatching the weapons from the police?Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThis is nothing but an irresponsible and poorly predicted act.”
“The worldly ethics of a justice to the crime demands the punishment to be sought after the admittance to the crime, but Jammu Kashmir's Police were beyond such ethics. We warn the police to abstain from such irresponsible, disgraceful and sick acts otherwise the consequences will be met soon,” he said. (KNS)
