Srinagar, Jan 22 (KNS): While expressing sympathy and solidarity with the family of Al Umar chief Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, and other families whose dear ones have been disappeared, militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba has appealed to the international human rights bodies to play their role in finding out the missing people in Kashmir.
In a statement to KNS, LeT chief Mahmood Shah slammed Indian state and said that his brother-in-law, Sirajudin Farooqi, was forcibly disappeared by Indian army on January 23, 1992 from downtown in Srinagar and is still missing.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“If India is claiming that Pandits were displaced out of Kashmir on 19 January in 1990 by Mujahideen, we ask it to give evidence and list to the world of the pandits who were killed then,” the LeT chief said, adding, “We will give the world list and evidence how many people were killed by its army and how many women and children were widowed and orphaned.” (KNS)
