Leopard rescued from Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 23 (KNS) : An adult leopard has been brought to the Dachigam on Wednesday after being rescued from Central Kashmir's Srinagar district early morning, wildlife officials said.

Talking to the Kashmir News Service (KNS), officials from the wildlife department said that, it rescued a male leopard from Dalgate Churchlane in Srinagar after receiving a call about leopard presence in an area.

The recuse operation was started about 7 am in the morning and was lead by a joint teams of Control room, Central Division Dachigam and Budgam Man-Animal conflict team, official said.

He said, that the leopard was captured and was taken to the Dachigam where from it would be relocated to it's origin.
