Handwara, July 31(KNS): A four-year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack in Monabal Haril area of Handwara in northern Kashmir on Sunday evening.
An official told the Kashmir news service (KNS), that the leopard pounced upon the minor boy identified as Saqib Ahmad son of Baya Din Badana, a resident of Londa village of Langate this evening.
His family and locals tried to come to her rescue, but the beast left the him critically injured, leading to his death.
Meanwhile a police officer also confirmed the incident to KNS and said that a case under relevant sections of laws has been registered.(KNS)
