Leaders who recently quit political parties are keeping cards close to their chests

Srinagar, Mar 15 (KNS): Many political leaders who quit recently have decided to "keep your cards close to your chest" due to prevailing political uncertainty.
Sources in Political circles informed “Kashmir News Service” (KNS),  that many top political leaders who have quit different parties recently have decided to not get associated with any political party for the time being.
“We have decided not to align with any political party till elections are closer or some political clarity emerges. It is difficult to get a clear political picture of J&K right now. We will go with the party which is acceptable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, a leader who recently quit a political party told KNS.
He added that PAGD has garnered good number of votes with emotional slogans "but it is yet to be seen how people are going to respond to PAGD affiliated parties after DDC elections. Moreover PAGD has not clarified whether they will fight elections together or separately," he informed KNS.
Meanwhile after the extension to Delimitation Commission by GOI, the elections in J&K are nowhere in near future.
KNS has also learnt that some political leaders who have either quit parties or have developed differences with party leadership are keeping a watch on the next move of Ghulam Nabi Azad who is leading rebellion against Gandhi leadership of Congress.
" Ghulam Nabi Azad is equally acceptable to GOI, people of Jammu and Kashmir regions. He can prove a game changer incase he decides to script his Independent political journey in J&K."

Senior leaders who have quit their parties or miffed with their party leadership include, Abdul Haq Khan, Basharat Bukhari, Fayaz Ahmed Mir, Nazir Ahmed Laway, Peerzada Mansoor and other middle rung leaders.(KNS)
