Srinagar May 04:(KNS) The demolition drive was launched by Lakes and Waterways Development Authority through its Enforcement Wing under the supervision of Abdul Aziz Qadri (Enforcement Officer) LDA in the area of, Nowpora, Saderbal, Baghwanpora Lal Bazar, Shalimar & Teilbal in which, one ground level raft, one second storey, one single storey (green Belt), one tin shed & three shops. The violators have taking the advantage of current lockdown (Covid-19) were indulged in raising the illegal constructions which were onspot demolished by the demolition team of this wing.

Meanwhile, the Lakes & Waterways Development authorities have warned people residing within LAWDA jurisdiction to desist from undertaking illegal constructions or encroachments. All the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction & inlake are hereby once again directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions / encroachments, as the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal constructions/ removal of encroachments.
