Srinagar, Jul 05 (KNS): Under its special demolition drive the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) demolished a five constructions/structures at Nishat, Nigeen, Saida Kadal, Habak which was being illegally constructed by a violator.
The authorities have warned the residents living in the LDA jurisdiction not to indulge in illegal construction activities or dumping the construction material in the restricted areas without permission. The LAWDA will continue with demolition of illegal construction in these areas.
Moreover, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority has demolished 460 illegal structures and lodged 506 FIR’s against the violators for raising illegal structures in Green Belt area in till 2017.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
61 vehicles carrying illegal construction material were also seized/FIR lodged.
All the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction are hereby directed that not to go for any sort of illegal constructions.
As the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal construction more all the Tipper/Load carried owners are directed not carry construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without permission. (KNS)
