Srinagar, Mar 7 (KNS): Chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah on Monday expressed grief over the demise of Late Lassa Khan and paid tributes to him.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shah said, “Late Lassa Khan and his family have contributed a lot to freedom struggle. He has shouldered the coffins of his four sons and two nephews who sacrificed their lives for the movement.”
Shah also prayed for the heavenly abode of the deceased. A delegation including Nazir Ahmad Tanda, Sajad ul Haq, and Shabir Ahmad Baba visited Kokernag, Islamabad to express condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family of Late Lassa Khan.
Meanwhile, a DFP spokesperson while paying tributes to Shaheed Dawood Sheikh who achieved martyrdom on Sunday evening said though the martyrdom of mujahedeen is a great loss for us but we can never forget the mission for which these brave-hearts sacrifice their lives.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The spokesperson expressed condolence with the family of the martyr and reiterated the pledge of taking the mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion.
DFP’s district president Kulgam, Bashir Ahmad led a delegation which included Master Ghulam Mohiuddin, Muhammad Aazam ud Din, Riyaz Ahmad and Rafiq Ahmad visited Bichroo, Kulgam and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. (KNS)
