Srinagar, Aug 08 (KNS): The locals of Mawar, Langate in Kupwara district Monday alleged that a policeman has unleashed a reign of terror in the area.
A delegation of residents from Sadergund, Hangah, Maratgam, Batagund, Qalamabad and Shartgund told KNS that the cop resorts to stone pelting during night on residential houses. They identified the cop as Ghulab Khan.
“Khan during the night comes in the villages, pelts stones and thrashes whosoever comes to his way.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe has let loose a reign of terror in our villages,” they alleged.
SP Handwara Ghulam Jeelani Wani termed the allegations as baseless.
He told KNS that if any villager has a complaint they should approach him directly. (KNS)
