Srinagar, Apr 5 (KNS) : National Conference MLA from Lal Chowk on Sunday expressed profound gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Education Minister Sakina Itoo for the passage of the landmark Private University Bill in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) the MLA termed the legislation as a transformative step, saying it would end the long-pending exile of J&K students who previously had to travel outside the UT or abroad for quality higher education.

“This historic bill will bring world-class institutions closer to home, reducing financial and emotional burdens on families while equipping our youth with global skills and confidence,” the MLA said.
He further congratulated the people of Jammu & Kashmir, asserting that the move would usher in a new era of educational innovation, excellence, and opportunity across the Union Territory. (KNS)
