Srinagar, Nov 25 (KNS): The Lakhanpur will get State of the art wayside facility for the incoming and outgoing tourists to the state of Jammu Kashmir. The Secretary Tourism and floriculture on the instructions of CM visited the location along with the CEO of Lakhanpur Dev authority and other tourism officials .The secretary said that one tourist building will come up at the cost of 3.62 crore with accommodation, dining and facilitation counter for the visitors and the second construction as a travel mart will have an exhibition area displaying the Basohli art and paintings the secretary has set a deadline of three months for completion of the said project which will be a landmark for serving the tourist circuit of Ranjitsagar Dam Lakhanpur Basohli and all the visitors who use the surface transport for visiting the State.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The secretary said that the project will be on the pattern of Madhavpur Punjab and will encourage the potential tourists from North Indian states of Haryana Punjab and Chandigarh.
He further added that the travel shows in Haryana, Punjab, UP and Delhi will be boosted to showcase the untapped potential of the state particularly Jammu region which has capacity to be developed as an independent tourist destination. (KNS)
