Srinagar, May 17 (KNS): Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council has included a new member in its executive council and reshuffled charges of three council members.
As per KNS correspondent from Ladakh, LAHDC chairman Haji Muhammad Haneefa Jan has included Ghulam Rasool as the new executive council member and he has been allotted the charge of Public Works and Power Development departments.
Council member Aga Abas Rizvi has been allotted the charge of Rural Development and Handicrafts departments; Salim Ansung has been given Sheep Husbandry, while Mohsin Ali has been given the charge of ITI, Khadi industries.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
An autonomous governing body in the cold desert, LAHDC is led by Bharatiya Janata Party after the party won 18 seats in the polls held last year, while Congress could manage to win just four seats even after ruling the council earlier for years after its formation. (KNS)
