Ladakh Situation Serious, Don’t Take Law in Hand: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, Sep 25 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said the situation in Ladakh was serious and appealed to the people not to take law into their own hands.

“The situation is bad there. I only appeal to the people that the law should not be taken in their hands. They should adopt the path of peace, and the Government of India should pay attention to their legitimate demands,” Omar said as per KNS.

Chief Minister said that peace and brotherhood must be maintained in both Kargil and Leh, urging all stakeholders to resolve issues through dialogue rather than confrontation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Without naming directly, Omar also hit out at political opponents, saying failures in arrangements during such incidents cannot be shifted onto others.

“When such situations arise, the first failure is of the arrangements. They should see why they fail and why such situations arise, instead of blaming others,” he added.(KNS)
