Congress MLA from Kargil Asgar Ali Karbalie had criticised PDP-BJP government for “ignoring” Ladakh region from the Budget.
“Ladkah region has been ignored in the Budget. No allocation of any funds has been announced for the people of the region,” Karbalie has said, adding that Ladakh region is a far flung area which remains cut off with rest of the world for six-months in a year and thus it should have been allocated “a special package” in the Budget.
