Karnah, july 30 (KNS) : A volleyball tournament which was organized by Kupwara Police on the directions of SSP Kupwara yougal Manhas JKPS’ at Karnah concluded here today. Various teams from the karnah participated in the tournament.
ASP Kupwara Pardeep Singh JKPS, attended the final match of volleyball tournament as chief guest wherein the final match was played between Teetwal team and Dhani ,Dhani capitals wherein emerged winners. The participants were awarded with mementoes.
ASP Kupwara, Pardeep Singh JKPS, SHO Karnah Mudasir Ahmed, Naib tehsildar Iqbal Ahmed, Khawaja Qayoom, 2IC 6JAK rifles Mukal panthani and other respectable persons of the area were present during the event. The tournament was organised by the police as a goodwill gesture and to provide a platform to youth so that they could excel at different levels.
The tournament was organized with an aim to keep the youth away from social evils like Drugs addiction, and to improve the sports and to maintain their physical health.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from SHO Karnah Mudasir Ahmed. (KNS)
