Kupwara Police arrests 3 burglars, stolen property worth several lakhs recovered

Kupwara, Feb 11:(KNS) Police on Friday is said to have arrested three persons for their involvement in a burglary incident in Arampora area of  frontier district Kupwara. 

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas while giving details of the incident told that on February 9, 2022 , Police received a complaint from owner of a mobile telephone shop, alleging that some unknown persons have broken shutters of his shop stated in Arampora market and looted cellphones and other electronic accessories worth more than three lakhs of rupees . 

“Acting on the complaint received, an action was initiated which led to the arrest of three persons , from whose possession the stolen goods were recovered”, the SSP said.
 
Identifying the accused as Aamir Ahmad Teeli son of Ghulam Mohammad Teeli, Rahi Hasan son of Ghulam Hasan Teeli and Aaqib Ah Mir son of Reyaz Ahmad Mir, all residents Drugmulla Kupwara , the SSP further said that a case stands registered in police station Drugmula under FIR No. 28/2022 Under Sec 457/380 IPC into the incident which was solved by a team of Police Post Drugmulla led by its Incharge SI Mushtaq Ahmad under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Rashad Younis.(KNS
