Kupwara, January 31 (KNS) : The District Administration Kupwara today launched Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 at a function held in the Meeting Hall of the District Commissioner’s Office Complex in Kupwara. The campaign was inaugurated by the District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Kupwara, Shri Shrikant Suse, in the presence of senior district officers, including the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mufti Fareed u Din; Programme Officer ICDS, Yaar Ali Khan; the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kupwara; the Chief Planning Officer (CPO); the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD); the Chief Education Officer (CEO); the District Information Officer (DIO); the Chief Medical Officer (CMO); and other concerned officials.
Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 aims to achieve complete saturation of identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the Aspirational District of Kupwara and the Aspirational Block of Keran. The campaign will run until April 14, 2026, focusing on the time-bound achievement of development benchmarks in the health, nutrition, education, and agriculture sectors under the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) and the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).

Addressing the gathering, the DDC emphasized the importance of dedicated efforts and a concrete action plan to meet the campaign’s objectives within the stipulated timeframe. He directed all District Officers to visit the Aspirational Block of Keran at least once every month to closely monitor progress and accelerate the on-ground achievement of KPIs.
The DDC further highlighted that the effective implementation of the campaign would significantly improve service delivery and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the targeted areas.
On this occasion, an Aspirational Pledge was administered, in which all participants committed to working collectively and diligently toward achieving the targets set under Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0. (KNS)
