Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): A youth who was injured during the clashes on the day of by-polls for Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency on April 9 succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura last night, officials said.
The youth identified as Muzaffar Ahmad was a resident of Zangalpora village of Devsar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district and was working labourer in Barsoo area of Ganderbal district.

“He had a bullet injury in thigh and was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital,” reports quoting an official said.
Meanwhile, according to KNS correspondent, hundreds of people participated in the funeral prayers of the youth.
The mourners chanted pro-freedom and anti-India sloganeering during the funeral procession. (KNS)
