Bandipora, 22 May (KNS) : The residents of the Kudara area have expressed strong resentment against the PMGSY department for failing to repair the Shokbaba-Kudara road, which has remained in shambles since 2019.
The road continues to cause major inconvenience to the local population.
According to residents, the road connecting Kudara to the district headquarters has developed multiple potholes and has not seen any repair or maintenance for the past several years. Despite repeated appeals, the PMGSY department has not taken any action.

Several incidents have been reported where pregnant women delivered on the road due to a lack of timely access to healthcare.
They further said that dust from the road causes discomfort for pedestrians and those commuting on two-wheelers.
Locals alleged that no work has been done since 2019 and both the administration and the PMGSY department have ignored their repeated pleas. They have once again appealed to higher authorities to intervene and take immediate steps to address the issue. (KNS)
