Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): As the last rites of slain militant Shafat Ahmad went off peacefully, the area is observing a complete shutdown.
According to KNS, thousands of mourners had turned up in Wagoora to participate in the last rites of Wani. A post graduate pass out Shafat Wani had joined militancy last year and was wanted to forces since his joining the militant ranks.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe was killed in an overnight encounter in Budgam. Heavy contingents of police had been deployed in the area as the news of his killing broke out late this morning. (KNS)
