Srinagar, Jan 21 (KNS): The Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir (JeI) has said that, Kashmiri pandits have every right to return and live without any fear from their Muslim neighbors as they used to live before leaving at the ‘behest’ of the then governor Jagmohan.
In a statement issued to KNS, they said that, “This is not an issue, no Kashmiri will oppose their return to their native land and restarting their routine life.”
They said that Pandits need not to worry at all but the politicians with vested interests are raising this issue out of proportion for achieving their mean and nefarious designs whereas they have no real sympathy for those Pandit families which are really suffering for being away from their native land.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir welcomes the return of the displaced Pandit community to Kashmir and appeals them not to be swayed away by the false propaganda of these opportunists who want to secure the political goal from this issue,” the statement said.
Jamaat termed the creation of the separate clusters for them is nothing but a well designed game plan to develop a permanent wedge between them and the local Muslims which in no case is fruitful for any Kashmiri and as such they should never accept this planned separation but live in conducive environment alongside with the local people.
