Sopore, Nov 20 (KNS): The Jal Shakti Department on Saturday repaired damaged water pipes in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after reports of damaged water pipes poured in.

The development has come hours after Kashmir News Service (KNS) published a news item regarding damaged water pipes in Sopore town of the district today.

Locals had complained about leakage in main water supply pipe in main chowk Sopore and Amargarh near J&K Bank Zonal office.

Soon after the news reported was published, Jal Shakti Department swung into action and repaired the damaged water pipes.

Meanwhile, locals thanked KNS for highlighting the issue and prompting the authorities to take action into the matter. (KNS)
