Srinagar, Sept 23 (KNS): The Kashmir News Service (KNS) deeply mourns the tragic death of Yumna Khursheed, daughter of senior journalist Khursheed Wani, who lost her life in a road accident in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The heartbreaking incident occurred in the Hayat Nagar area of Hyderabad when an unknown vehicle struck the young student while she was on her way to college. Despite being rushed to the hospital by bystanders, she could not survive her injuries. The deceased hailed from the Tral area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
In a statement issued, Mohd Aslam Bhat, Editor-in-Chief of KNS, expressed profound grief over the untimely loss. Police in Hyderabad have registered a case and begun an investigation into the hit-and-run. CCTV footage from the area is being examined to trace the vehicle and driver involved in the fatal incident.(KNS)
