KUPWARA, JAN 25 (KNS) : In a significant recognition of impactful journalism, the District Administration Kupwara on Sunday honoured Towseef Hamdani, Senior Correspondent for Kashmir News Service (KNS), with an Appreciation Award on the occasion of the 16th National Voter's Day.
The award was presented on behalf of the news agency in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the 2024 Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme. The recognition comes following a landmark year for Indian democracy, during which KNS played a pivotal role in covering two major election cycles.
