Srinagar, Feb 02 (KNS): Mother of senior KNS correspondent Raja Akbar Dar has passed away on Wednesday evening at SKIMS Soura after a prolonged ailment.
Her Chaharum will be observed on February 05, Sunday at her ancestral residence at Audoora Qalamabad (Handwara).
The death has been widely condoled by politicians, bureaucrats, Doctors, police officials and members of civil society.
KNS expresses heartfelt condolences with Raja Akbar in this hour of grief and prays for eternal peace to the deceased and patience to the bereaved family.

A delegation of KNS comprising Fayaz Hamid, Iqbal Amin, Tariq Ahmad, Shamim Ahmad, Taseer Afzal and Azad Ahmad also visited the bereaved family and condoled the death.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara also visited the family of the deceased and conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family. (KNS)
