Kishtwar, Oct 31 (KNS): People in Kishtwar town have censured the government’s claims of development, saying that the main town grapples for parking space which cause frequent traffic jams on its raods.
“Absence of parking spaces in Kishtwar has created a great problemfor us,” said a resident Ashiq Ahmad.
He said from Bus Stand to Dak Bungalow vehicles are parked on the sides of roads which constantly creates traffic jams.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAreas adjoining DC office, Police Station and Court premises also have a healthy number of vehicles parked there.
He said that no parking placards have been erected by the town committee at the parking slots.
He said that commuters mostly students and employees from far flung areas suffer the most due to it.
“Huge traffic jams occur in the town everyday because of no parking space,” he said. (KNS)
