Srinagar, May 17 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that visited protesting Kashmiri Pandits at Sheikpora village of Budgam and stated that the killings were aimed at pushing Kashmiri Pandits out of the Kashmir Valley. 
 
Talking to the KPs, who are holding a sit-in protest at Sheikhpora following the killing of their member Rahul Bhat, he urged them not to make any statements, which will enemy succeed in their evil designs. 
 
IGP told them that the agenda of the enemy was to turn the people against the government and that they should not make such statements, which will help their enemy. 
 
“Army, police and other security agencies are fighting against these enemies and things and you people too have to fight against it,” he told the protesting KPs.
 
He added that their martyrdom and sacrifices were invaluable and it was equivalent to the martyrdom of a security forces personnel. 
 
IGP also assured them that if there are any loopholes from the security point of view, they will fix it at the earliest and that militants were being eliminated, which will continue. (KNS)
