Jammu, Feb 5 (KNS): BJP MLA Shagun Parihar on Wednesday termed the killing of two terrorists in Udhampur and one in Kishtwar as a major success for the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
Referring to the operations carried out a day earlier, Parihar congratulated the security forces and the people of the Union Territory, saying the neutralisation of the militants was a significant achievement.
“This is a big success for our security forces. I congratulate the people of Jammu and Kashmir that these terrorists were neutralised,” the BJP legislator said.
Commenting on Shah’s visit, Parihar said the home minister had consistently addressed the expectations of the people of the Union Territory.
“Whenever he has visited Jammu and Kashmir, he has lived up to the expectations of the people. He has always kept Jammu and Kashmir close to his heart,” she said.
The BJP MLA said the government remained committed to ensuring peace and security in the region.(KNS).
