Strongly codenaming the killing of father and his 3- year old son in Sagipora Sopore of Baramulla district by unidentified gunman on Friday night, chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani called for a complete shutdown to be observed on Sunday against the ‘gruesome act’.
Veteran Hurriyat leader termed the killing of father- son as ‘inhuman and un- Islamic’ and asked people to identify these brutal killers behind these acts.
Urging people not to stay calm on these grave inhuman acts; Geelani told KNS that these killers must be identified and exposed.
“Killing of an innocent is the killing of whole humanity. I condemn this killing and appeal people as well pro- freedom leadership to protest and identify these killers behind such gruesome and barbaric crimes,” Geelani said in a statement.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Geelani appealed people to observe complete shutdown on Sunday (Sep- 20) across state to protest these killings.
Geelani also condemned the killing of a militant, whose bullet- riddled body was found in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district on Saturday morning.
He said that while the death of a Syrian boy Aylan Kurdi shook the whole world, similarly whole Kashmiri nation is raising questions on the killing of 3- year old Burhan. “The killing of innocent Burhan has shaken us all and we demand killers of humanity must be brought to book,” he said. (KNS)
