Srinagar, 18 May (KNS) : Amid the Kidnapping and sexual assault case of a minor in Malabagh area of Srinagar, the Srinagar police on Wednesday asked the landlords to get tenant verifications or face legal action.
According to the police tweet, the three 'criminal minded' persons from Rafiabad and Sopore, held in the case, resided on rent in the area.
Moreover, the landlord, the police said had not done tenant verification before providing them with the space.
The police said that the landlord too will face legal action for not doing the mandatory tenant verification.(KNS)
