Sunday May 8 (KNS): The match was held between Tral 11 and Sherdil Baramulla.

The tournament was Sponsored by J&K youth congress leader Manpreet Singh Mani  Congress General Secretary & I/c Office Surinder Singh Channi graced the occasion with his presence. Whereas,  State JKPYC President Uday Bhanu Chib was the Guest of honour.

After winning the toss, Tral 11 chose to bat first and in their innings they scored a total of 164 runs in 20overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Jasbeer Singh  was the top scorer who scored a magnificent 74 runs.

 

In reply,Sherdil Baramulla  were not able to cope up with the required target and were all out on 117 runs.

Eventually, Tral 11  were declared as winners of the Tournament Tral 11 Captain  was rewarded with the trophy of Man of the Series & Man of the Match .

 

The winning team Tral 11  was rewarded with a cash prize of Rupess Twenty Thousand and the runners up team Sherdil Baramulla were rewarded with a Cash Prize of Rupees Fifteen Thousand.

Speaking on the occasion Channi Singh congratulated Tral 11  for winning this tournament at and wished them luck and focussed on the importance of Sports in day to day life.

 

State President JKPYC Uday Chib also congratulated the team on their success.

Both the teams & organisers thanked Manpreet Singh Mani for sponsoring the entire tournament. 

Mani while speaking said that the youth is the future of the nation & sports plays a very important role in nurturing on self. 

He said he will continue to promoting such events in future too
