Srinagar, June 18 (KNS): Apni Party Youth Provincial President Khalid Rathore on Friday visited Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tulmul-Gandebal wherein he greeted Kashmiri Pandit brethren on the auspicious occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani.

In a message issued here, Rathore observed that the festival of Mela Kheer Bhawani signifies rich and shining pluralistic ethos of Jammu and Kashmir, that for centuries has upheld the valuable traits of communal harmony and brotherhood.

“For ages Mela Kheer Bhawani has endured as a hallmark of multi-religious ethos of J&K, which even to this day continues to be celebrated with much fervour by all the communities,” Rathore emphasized.

Khalid Rathore was also accompanied by Apni Party District Organiser Srinagar Parvez Ahmad.

He also asserted that Kashmiri Pandits are an inseparable part of Kashmiri culture and history without whom the concept of Kashmiriyat is partial.

“Apni Party will continue to strengthen the bond between different sections of J&K, and I pray that soon our Kashmiri brethren will also return to the valley and an era of peace and progress will commence once again,” he prayed.(KNS)
