Srinagar, May 13 (KNS): Senior Hurriyat Conference leader and Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF) Chairman Syed Bashir Andrabi has opposed the Sainik colony for ex-servicemen, saying that it was ploy to change demography of the state by puppet state regime.
In a statement to KNS, a spokesman of KFF said that Andrabi while addressing a public gathering at Dogripora, Pulwama, said that the puppet regimes by safeguarding are weakening the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Jammu and Kashmir is a Muslim majority state with disputed status. Indian wants to make entry for non-state subjects to permanently settle here to change the demography by ways of industrial policy, rehabilitation settlements for non-local labourers,” Andrabi said.
Syed Bashir Andrabi was accompanied by Mohammad Akbar Dar, Showkar Ahmad Bhat, Shamim Ahmad and Haji Habubullah.
Andrabi said India is following the pattern of Israel in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“We will jontly fight this systematic onslaught on our identity. We have to fight this brutal aggression tooth and nail in one voice and forget all differences as a nation,” he said.
While lauding the latest stance of Pakistan at United Nations Syed Bashir Andrabi said Pakistan has always supported the cause of freedom of Kashmir and lend its crucial moral, political and diplomatic support to freedom struggle here.
Andrabi appealed to U.N.to take note of human rights violations in the state and ensure just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Andrabi condemned the banning Hurriyat (G) Conference seminar and said that India proved that its democratic credentials are hollow.
Meanwhile, under directions of Syed Bashir Andrabi, Molvi Shamsudin of KFF’s visited Talangam, Pulwama, and addressed people about the recent conspiracies against Kashmiris. (KNS)
