Chandigarh, March 2 (KNS): BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today demanded that in the Delhi excise scam the alleged main player, Arivnd Kejriwal, should be taken into custody.
Chugh said since the excise policy imposed in Punjab is similar to the one executed in Delhi, the CBI must expand its scope of investigation and pinpoint Kejriwal for engineering the entire scam.
Chugh said even in Punjab the excise policy has been guided and monitored by Kejriwal. "So basically the CBI should capture the kingpin in this entire scam instead of focussing on pawns of the kingpin", said Chugh.
He said in Punjab also the AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann has been dancing to the tune of Kejriwal to extend benefits to liquor barons who had patronised the AAP election campaign in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.(KNS)
