Shoaib Malik played a stellar role in Pakistan's 3-0 whitewashover Sri Lanka in the T20 International series. The former captain smashed 102 runs from the three matches and finished as the man-of-the-series.
And a commanding performance like that called for a special celebration with the wife and friends. Malik is married to star India tennis player Sania Mirza and the group celebrated with keema parathas, lassi and chai (tea).

The 35-year-old Malik was in fine form in the ODIs as well and scored two half-centuries. This has been a fine year for Pakistan in limited-overs cricket. They won the Champions Trophy earlier this year in England and have now won nine successive ODIs this year.

However, Pakistan are not scheduled to play any more ODIs in 2017.
On Sunday, Lahore celebrated the return of international cricket to Pakistan as the team registered a 36-run victory over Sri Lanka at the Gadaffi Stadium.
Malik played a starring role, striking 51 off only 24 balls while Mohammmad Amir chipped in a with a brilliant bowling performance.(KNS)
