The prominent personalities of Kashmir Development Front (KDF) Wednesday emphasized for liberal democracy in the state.
In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the KDF said, “During the meeting chaired by Khwaja Farooq Renzushah and presided by Khwaja Bashir Kashmiri, speakers said that all kinds of democratic referendums are possible under liberal democracy doctrine. The restricted and infringed democracy is the venom for human liberty and the civilizations do not flourish under the shadow of such liberalism.”
Renzushah and Bashir Kashmiri underscored the need for strengthening roots of Liberal Democracy to ensure not only development of Kashmir but also to solve all problems which are ailing Kashmir for last several decades.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Javaid Tota, Mohammad Maqbool, Haji Abdullah the prominent personality of Sopore said that under the leadership of Renzushah, “our candidates have not only secured respectable support but time has come to project Liberal Democracy as the only platform which will accommodate all liberal thinking people, who will play their role to solve all problems faced by the people.”
They said that when referendum can be considered for Delhi statehood, “why same referendum cannot be held in J&K to ask people of J&K about their liberal opinion on AFSPA in the most liberal democratic manner.”
